The mission of Camp Connections (CC) is to provide a traditional camp experience for individuals with moderate to severe communication challenges.

 

This camp also serves as a training opportunity for IU Speech-Language Pathology Graduate Students, with emphasis on maximizing the camper’s use of expressive language (regardless of modality i.e., voice, voice output device, static symbol boards, etc.) in large group activities such as art, music, sport, circle time (literacy), snack, and free time. This focus will be accomplished through the collaborative efforts of IU and MCCSC staff members.
